Revolves around a family struggling to maintain their well-to-do lifestyle in their overly materialistic New England community. Sedgwick plays the matriarch, who is more interested in appearances than for caring or showing affection toward her husband (D’Onofrio) and pushes him into a bad real estate deal.

Ann Grim Sleeper Comments Off on Lifetime Hunts The Grim Sleeper in Original Movie
Dreama’s new Lifetime movie The Grim Sleeper will air on the network Saturday, March 15 at 8pm ET/PT.
Based on the True Story of One Investigative Reporter’s Quest for Justice
LOS ANGELES (February 18, 2014) – When a Los Angeles journalist uncovers a pattern of clues and exposes a serial killer, she also exposes a secret the police held for over 20 years while a community was repeatedly terrorized. This is the story told in the Lifetime Original Movie, The Grim Sleeper, premiering Saturday, March 15 at 8pm ET/PT and starring Dreama Walker (Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23), Macy Gray (Training Day), Ernie Hudson (Call Me Crazy) and Michael O’Neill (Dallas Buyers Club).
The Grim Sleeper follows LA Weekly reporter Christine Pelisek (Walker) as she doggedly investigates the unsolved murders of dozens of women in Los Angeles and soon realizes one person is responsible for many of these deaths that began over 20 years earlier. After a string of murders in the 1980s, the violence seemed to end; but almost 14 years later, another murder spree begins, leading Pelisek to dub the killer “The Grim Sleeper.” The reporter-turned-amateur detective notices similarities between the cases and sets out to break the story of her career, researching evidence and interviewing witnesses for clues to the killer’s identity. While police and lead detectives (Hudson, O’Neill) kept the community in the dark about a potential serial killer on the loose, Pelisek contacts the victims’ families to offer them the truth about what may have happened to their daughters, sisters, wives and mothers. When the only known survivor (Gray) comes forward to tell her side of the story, pieces of the mystery unravel and Pelisek is even more determined to bring justice for the victims.
The Grim Sleeper is executive produced by Michael Jaffe (The Client List) and Joe Pichirallo (Lakeview Terrace). Stan Brooks (Perfect Sisters) directs from a script written by Robert Nathan (Law & Order) and Teena Booth (The Drew Peterson Story).

Ann Date And Switch Comments Off on “Date And Switch” Review
Thanks to a Date And Switch review we now know that Dreama is still in the film even though it was taken off of her IMDb profile. It seems like her role was cut down in the editing process. Hopefully we will get to see her missing scenes as extras on the DVD.
At that prom, Compliance’s Dreama Walker turns up as a character whose introduction must’ve come earlier in previous drafts of Alan Yang’s script, and yet she speaks so few lines that her performance goes uncredited.

, News Comments Off on Dreama To Star In “Grim Sleeper”
The case of Los Angeles’ notorious “Grim Sleeper” serial killer is getting a TV movie treatment with Lifetime‘s The Grim Sleeper starring Dreama Walker (Don’t Trust The B—-) and co-starring actress-singer Macy Gray (Training Day), Ernie Hudson (Call Me Crazy), and Michael O’Neill (Dallas Buyers Club). It will be directed by Stanley M. Brooks in the veteran TV movie producer’s return to the genre.
THE GRIM SLEEPER is written by Robert Nathan (Law & Order) and Teena Booth (The Drew Peterson Story) and follows the victims and lone survivor of the ‘Grim Sleeper’, a serial killer responsible for murders of women in Los Angeles between 1985 and 2009. One suspect, Lonnie David Franklin, was arrested in 2010 but has yet to stand trial.
The movie will follow LA Weekly reporter Christine Pelisek, played by Walker, and her in-depth investigations into the ‘Grim Sleeper’ – a term the journalist coined. Enietra ‘Margette’ Washington, who will be played by Gray, is the only known survivor of the killer. Hudson and O’Neill will portray officers investigating the case.
