Dreama is currently attending Sundance Film Festival in Park City (Utah). Yesterday she was at the first Chefdance night and GenArt’s 7 Fresh Faces In Film event. I have added pictures of both to the gallery. Additionally I have uploaded some screencaps of the Compliance behind the scenes video here.

The world premiere of Compliance has taken place today (just a short while ago) but no pictures have been released so far. There have been some reactions to the film; you can check them out on Twitter.

Compliance is part of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival NEXT lineup and will be shown a few times during the festival. The website has a few production stills of the film which have now been added to the gallery.
I have decided to post the summary below. For the reaction to the film and the screenings details please visit the Compliance page at the official Sundance Film Festival website.

Becky and Sandra aren’t the best of friends. Sandra is a middle-aged manager at a fast-food restaurant; Becky is a teenaged counter girl who really needs the job. One stressful day (too many customers and too little bacon), a police officer calls, accusing Becky of stealing money from a customer’s purse, which she vehemently denies. Sandra, overwhelmed by her managerial responsibilities, complies with the officer’s orders to detain Becky. This choice begins a nightmare that tragically blurs the lines between expedience and prudence, legality and reason.

Below you can find a few tidbits from yesterday’s Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 session at the 2012 Winter TCA Tour.

Closing out Lee’s lineup reveal was the comedy Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23. “I love the show,” Lee said. “It’s one of my favorite comedies of the year, and Nahnatchka Khan, you know, we talked about Emily Kapnek last time and Jane Levy and what a job they did. I think Nahnatchka’s done an incredible job with this. She’s really irreverent. She’s outrageous. Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker, who I hope are in the building, are just great. I mean, they’re really a fabulous pair, full of attitude, and James Van Der Beek is hilarious. He’s a real revelation. I know he’s in the building. I bumped into him, ‘the Beek from the Creek,’ as they call him.”

In one of the panel’s funniest moments, the 25-year-old Walker said that she wasn’t allowed to watch “Dawson’s Creek” as a kid, but she admitted, “”I do remember seeing his face on a calendar a number of times and thinking ‘That’s what all boys are supposed to look like’ and none of them do!’”

Walker plays June, a young woman from the Midwest who comes to New York and moves in with Chloe. Though June seems a bit naive, Walker says she’s “a smart girl,” who “sometimes tries to be a little bit of a badass and that doesn’t fare so well.” During the panel, Van Der Beek had a lot of fun teasing Walker for not being old enough to have been a fan of Dawson’s Creek, while Walker protested that she was “not too young!” (Walker is 25). Walker insisted that she did remember seeing a calendar with Van Der Beek’s face on it when she was in sixth grade, and thinking it was “very upsetting” that no boys she knew looked like him.

ABC has finally announced the Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23″ premiere date at the Winter Upfronts. The show premieres on April 11 at 9:30 after Modern Family!

For now it doesn’t look like any of the cast members were at the event. If pictures do show up I’ll be sure to post them.

Edit: From additional tweets by TV Guide we now know that James van der Beek is at the event but no word on Dreama or Krysten Ritter.

Edit 2: Dreama and Krysten Ritter are both there as well! Pictures will follow once they are released.

As is custom every year there will be a Winter Press Tour promoting new television shows and ABC is taking part it in again (they did not hold panels with cast members for every show during the Fall Press Tour).

Please note that it is currently unknown if cast members will take part in any of the sessions but the session for Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 will take place on January 10th at 10am.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Dreama will be in attendance and we’ll get some new pictures of her!

ABC has released their midseason schedule yesterday and strangely enough Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, Cougar Town and Scandal are missing from the lineup.

Originally planned for a January 3rd premiere date it seems ABC has changed their plans and the shows will not air as a midseason series. Some are speculating that the shows will take the place of ones that may be cancelled but nothing is certain at the moment.

Let’s hope ABC changes their minds and puts Apartment 23 on the schedule soon!
